1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PDFNepal website (https://pdfnepal.com) and any associated APIs, mobile views, or micro-tools, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2 Description of Services

PDFNepal provides free and premium cloud and client-side document utilities, including but not limited to PDF merging, splitting, compression, conversion (PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, Markdown), digital signing, editing, optical character recognition (OCR), and specialized Nepal utilities (Preeti to Unicode, Bikram Sambat date conversion, etc.).

3 Document Privacy & Data Ownership

You retain 100% full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights to all documents, images, and text uploaded to PDFNepal. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

PDFNepal operates on a strict zero-retention policy: temporary files processed through our server are automatically purged within 1 to 2 hours, or immediately when manually deleted. We do not inspect, read, copy, or use your files for machine learning training.

4 Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the PDFNepal platform. Prohibited activities include:

• Uploading files containing malware, viruses, ransomware, or malicious scripts.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the service using automated bots in a manner that degrades system performance.
• Using the service for illegal activities under the laws of Nepal or your local jurisdiction.
• Violating copyright or trademark laws of third parties.

5 Disclaimer of Warranties

The PDFNepal platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we utilize modern conversion engines with high precision, PDFNepal makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding 100% formatting perfection, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular legal or critical purpose. Always verify important converted documents.

6 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFNepal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
